Custom Fabric Printing

Custom fabric printing lets you print your own design or pick from our library — digital for low MOQ and unlimited colour, rotary for the best price at volume — with Pantone colour matching and lab dips before bulk, supplied to abaya, dress and fashion buyers across MENA.

How it works

Your design, or ours — printed to spec.

Send us your artwork and we will print it on the base cloth you choose, or pick a pattern from our seasonal library. We run digital (inkjet) printing for short runs, photo-real detail and unlimited colours, and rotary-screen printing when the volume justifies the lower per-metre cost. For polyester we also offer sublimation, where the colour is fused into the fibre for a soft hand and high wash-fastness.

Colour matching is done to your Pantone TPX/TCX or a physical reference. We send a lab dip or printed strike-off for sign-off before any bulk run, so the production lot matches what you approved. Repeats are set to your width and registered so the pattern flows cleanly across the roll.

Custom artwork stays yours. We hold your designs in confidence and can print them on an exclusive basis so a print you commissioned is not sold to another buyer. Most strike-offs ship within days; bulk follows on a 2–3 week lead time depending on method and quantity.

Choose the method

Digital, rotary or sublimation.

The right method depends on your run size, colour count and base cloth. Digital wins on small, complex and exclusive prints; rotary wins on price once a design is settled and ordered in volume; sublimation is the choice for vivid all-over prints on polyester.

Common questions

Custom fabric printing, answered.

What is the minimum order (MOQ) for custom prints?

It depends on the method. Digital printing starts low — roughly 50–300 m per design — which makes it ideal for testing a print or running an exclusive capsule. Rotary-screen printing carries a higher MOQ (around 1,000–3,000 m per colourway) because each colour needs its own engraved screen, but the per-metre cost drops sharply at volume. For how MOQ works across the mill, see our polyester & dress fabric range and printed fabric catalogue.

What file format and artwork do you need?

Send vector (AI, EPS, PDF) or high-resolution raster (TIFF, PNG, JPG) at 300 dpi or more at final print size. Tell us the repeat size and the fabric width so we can register the pattern cleanly across the roll. We review every file for thin lines, low resolution and colour build, and flag anything that needs fixing before we print.

How accurate is the colour match?

We match to your Pantone TPX/TCX reference or a physical swatch, then send a lab dip or printed strike-off for your sign-off. Bulk is printed only against the approved strike-off, so the production lot matches what you signed. Slight shade variation between print methods and base fabrics is normal — the strike-off is what governs the run.

Is my design protected and exclusive?

Yes. Artwork you supply stays yours and is held in confidence. We can print your design on an exclusive basis so it is not offered to other buyers, and we are happy to work under an NDA. Ready prints from our own library are non-exclusive unless you buy out the design. To start, contact us with your artwork and target quantity.
