Premium abaya nida
Korean Nida Fabric, Wholesale
Korean nida fabric is the premium-grade matte abaya cloth importers ask for by name — a finer, denser weave than standard nida that holds a deeper, more even black with less shine and better opacity. Sundust supplies it wholesale from Keqiao, dye-lot matched and shipped by the roll or container to MENA. Order swatches this week.
Why it’s premium
What makes Korean nida premium.
Korean nida is a premium polyester abaya cloth named for the Korean-spec yarn and finishing it is built on. The difference over standard nida is in the weave: a finer denier and tighter, denser construction give the cloth a smoother, silk-like hand and a more disciplined drape that falls clean instead of stiff.
That denser weave is what buyers are really paying for. It produces a deeper, more even matte black with noticeably less surface shine than ordinary nida, so a finished abaya reads rich rather than plasticky under shop and daylight. Opacity is higher too — a single layer covers properly without needing to be doubled, which keeps the garment light. The fabric resists wrinkling, holds vibrant print and dye, and keeps its colour wash after wash.
Against standard nida the trade reads it simply: same family, higher grade. Korean nida costs a little more per metre, but the superior matte depth, opacity and drape are exactly the qualities premium abaya brands and discerning importers will not compromise on. Common questions
Korean nida, answered.
What is Korean nida fabric?
Korean nida is a premium grade of nida — a matte polyester abaya cloth built on Korean-spec yarn and a finer, denser weave. It sits at the top of the abaya fabric range, prized for its deep matte black, soft hand and clean drape. For the base cloth in general, read what is nida fabric.
How is Korean nida different from standard nida?
Same fabric family, higher grade. The tighter weave gives Korean nida a deeper, more even matte black with less shine, higher opacity and a smoother, more disciplined drape. It costs a little more per metre, which is why premium abaya brands specify it.
What weight and width does it come in?
Roughly 180–230 GSM on a standard 145–150 cm usable width. Lighter weights suit Gulf-summer abayas; heavier weights suit structured, tailored robes. Every shade is dye-lot matched across rolls.
What is the wholesale MOQ, and can I get samples first?
Yes — you can start from a single roll per colour, and we send physical swatches within 48 hours so you can check the black and hand before committing. See our nida fabric wholesale page for pricing structure, or contact us to request a sample set.
