What we supply
The lining that makes a garment hang right.
Lining is the layer the customer feels, so we stock the constructions garment makers actually order. Polyester taffeta from 50–65 GSM is the workhorse — smooth, crisp, colour-fast and economical for jackets, dresses and abaya. Habotai (silk-touch) at 60–75 GSM gives a softer, fluid drape for finer modestwear and eveningwear. Satin lining adds lustre and slip for coats and bridal, while viscose / bemberg at 65 GSM is the breathable, anti-static, silky-cool premium choice for tailored suiting that has to wear comfortably all day.
Widths run 145–150 cm across the range, with anti-static finishes available on the synthetics. We hold a full shade card — from black, ivory and the greys most jackets need to deep brand colours — and we dye-lot match the lining to your body fabric so a finished run stays uniform from the first roll to the last. Which lining should I use for abaya?
Most abaya houses line with a lightweight polyester taffeta or a silk-touch habotai — breathable, fluid and easy to match to the body cloth. We dye-lot match the lining to your nida or crepe so the finished robe drapes as one piece. See the wider garment fabric range for body-and-lining pairing.
What is the difference between polyester taffeta and viscose / bemberg lining?
Polyester taffeta is crisp, economical and very colour-fast — ideal for volume production. Viscose / bemberg (cupro) is breathable, anti-static and silky-cool, the premium choice for tailored suiting and jackets that have to wear comfortably. We carry both, plus habotai and satin in between. It pairs naturally with our suiting fabric and shirting fabric ranges.
Can you match the lining colour to my body fabric?
Yes. Send the garment or a swatch and we will pair a lining weight and shade that drapes and presses with it, then dye-lot match the pair for the whole run. We hold a full shade card and stock core blacks, ivories and greys for fast turnaround.
What is your minimum order and how fast can I get samples?
