Lustrous dress fabric
Satin Fabric, Wholesale
Satin fabric wholesale for eveningwear, dresses and abaya accents — charmeuse, duchess, crepe-back and stretch satin stocked deep in Keqiao (China Textile City), dye-lot matched and ready to sample this week, then ship by the roll or the container across MENA.
The satin offer
High-sheen satin — built for volume.
Satin is a weave, not a fibre — long floating yarns give it that signature glossy face and smooth, fluid drape. Our wholesale satin fabric runs across the constructions garment makers actually order: soft, flowing charmeuse with a shiny front and matte back; structured duchess satin with body for formal and bridal work; reversible crepe-back satin that gives two looks from one cloth; and stretch satin with 3–5% elastane for fitted, body-conscious styles.
Weights span the full band — lightweight charmeuse around 80–110 GSM for blouses and linings, standard dress satin 110–150 GSM, and duchess and bridal satin 150–230 GSM for gowns. Widths run 145–150 cm. We stock deep house solids across a full shade card alongside seasonal print collections, and offer poly and silk satin. Everything is bought and matched at source in Keqiao, so dye lots stay consistent from sample to bulk. Satin is one line in our wider polyester fabric range — cross over to chiffon or crepe for drape and dry hand.

Buyer questions
Satin fabric wholesale, answered.
What types of satin do you supply?
Soft, flowing charmeuse, structured duchess satin, reversible crepe-back satin, and stretch satin with elastane — in both polyester and silk, across the 80–230 GSM band. Satin sits within our wider polyester fabric wholesale catalogue.
What is satin best used for?
Its sheen and drape make satin the go-to for eveningwear and gowns, dresses and blouses, lingerie and linings, and lustrous abaya accents. For softer drape see chiffon; for a dry, matte hand see crepe, or read our chiffon vs crepe guide.
Poly satin or silk satin — which should I order?
Polyester satin gives strong sheen, easy care and the best value for volume production, and takes digital and rotary prints well. Silk satin (charmeuse) offers a premium hand and natural lustre for high-end ranges. We stock both and will send each so you can compare. Widths run 145–150 cm.
What is the MOQ and how do I get samples?
Stocked solids start at a single roll so you can trial a quality; custom dye lots and bespoke prints typically run 300–500 metres per colourway. Tell us the construction, weight and shade on the contact page and we will send physical samples and pricing within one business day.
