Dress & abaya fabric
Crepe Fabric, Wholesale
Crepe fabric wholesale for abaya and dress makers — moss crepe, bubble crepe, koshibo and crepe de chine with that dry, pebbled hand and clean drape, stocked deep in Keqiao (China Textile City) and dye-lot matched, ready to sample this week and ship by the roll or the container across MENA.
The crepe range
Crepe weights and weaves, built for drape.
Crepe earns its place in abaya and eveningwear because of its texture: yarns are twisted hard before weaving, so the cloth comes off the roll with a fine pebbled or crinkled surface, a dry hand, good recovery and a fluid drape that resists creasing. We carry the constructions garment makers actually order across 90–180 GSM:
Moss crepe (also marketed as sand-wash or American crepe) at 120–160 GSM gives a sandy, matte face with weight and structure — the staple for tailored abayas and modest dresses. Bubble crepe at 90–130 GSM has a lively crinkled texture and stretch for relaxed, flowing styles. Koshibo at 100–140 GSM is a smooth, dry-touch crepe with a subtle grain — a clean base that takes both solids and prints. Crepe de chine at 60–110 GSM is the lighter, softer drape for blouses, linings and layered dresses, while heavier scuba crepe adds body for structured pieces.
Widths run 145–150 cm. We stock deep house solids across a full shade card — led by abaya blacks — alongside seasonal digital and rotary prints. Everything is bought and matched at source in Keqiao, so dye lots stay consistent from sample to bulk. Crepe is one slice of our wider polyester fabric wholesale range; for sheerer drape see chiffon fabric, and for sheen see satin fabric.

Buyer questions
Crepe fabric wholesale, answered.
Which crepe is best for abayas?
For tailored abayas most buyers choose moss crepe at 130–160 GSM — it holds a deep matte black, drapes cleanly and resists creasing on long garments. Koshibo is a lighter, smoother alternative. Crepe sits within our wider polyester fabric wholesale range; if you also work in nida and formal blacks, see chiffon and satin for the rest of the abaya wardrobe.
Crepe or chiffon — which should I order?
Crepe is heavier, opaque and dry-handed with structure; chiffon is sheer, light and fluid for layering. We break the difference down in full on chiffon vs crepe, with weights, drape and typical uses side by side.
What is the minimum order (MOQ)?
Stocked crepe solids start at a single roll so you can trial a quality before committing. For custom dye lots and bespoke prints the typical MOQ is 300–500 metres per colourway. Tell us the construction and quantity and we will confirm exact terms.
How do I get samples and pricing?
Tell us the crepe type, weight and shade — or just the end product — on the contact page and we will send physical samples and a quotation within one business day.
